About the event
We will be meeting at 10:30am at Edmands Park. We will do an orienteering course (about 1.5 hours) and then head out to Walnut St in Newton for lunch afterwards, and perhaps a local playground after that, if time allows.
We will be doing Yellow Course 3. We recommend reviewing the map with your child ahead of time so they get familiar with it.
What to bring: plenty of water, a packable lunch/snack, weather appropriate clothes, binoculars or field guides, a compass.
NOTE: LRD Tshirt required as dress code for LRD members, and strongly encouraged for non-members. Tshirts are $20. Hats are optional, $15. T-shirts and hats will be available to purchase in person. Please bring cash.

Field Trip Membership
$20-$50 per family per year SUGGESTED DONATION to join our field trips. This small fee helps us with the tremendous amount of work to organize and execute all field trips. If this is a financial difficulty for your family, please just let us know.
